Progress Report

Today, I continued working on editing my music video. I began making edits to the colour of some of my shots, correcting them to fit better with the theme of the video. Some shots appeared to be quite warm in colour and tone due to the lights in the room I was recording in, so I desaturated them to look better along the grungy/rock music.

Alex, the video so far of course lacks some tying together in terms of storyline due to the gaps so the meaning is not overly clear. You do have some interesting shot types in this and a range of distances and have started to build in effects. Think more about the pacing of the edit; the song is quite aggressive in tone and the visuals need to match the music a little more. You also need more close ups and promotion of the artist(main point of a music vid!) rather than pure narrative and a chance to show skills in lip synching.
